Neighbours

Other interesting mesh

Those are definitely not neighbours but are so interesting that they are worth mentioning:

  • Puget Mesh: US west coast, massive mesh (2-4k nodes), previously Meshtastic, moving to Meshcore, but also ham radio (AREDN), built a bunch of interesting software, some of which is listed in our software page
  • Austin Mesh: US Texas weirdos, moving to Meshcore as well, flying drones and kites and DIY solar kits, excellent documentation
  • LocalMesh: NL, beautiful splash page, 2000+ Meshcore repeaters, we could use a tip or two from their front page introduction

See also the list of local Meshtastic groups.

  • Foulab: local hacker space
  • RADAR: Université de Montréal computer science department ("DIRO") radio club, working on a C++ driver for the Pinedio, the "PINE64 USB LoRa adapter is based on the Semtech SX1262 LoRa module and the CH341 USB bus converter chip"
  • Montreal Mesh: fork of the Greater Ottawa Mesh site
