First contacts between Montréal and Québec

We are seeing signs of the first contacts between Montréal and Québec.

We have already been seeing announces from Ottawa and as far as Toronto, Buffalo and Syracuse, but so far actual contacts have been limited: sometime tropospheric ducting would allow us to hold short conversations with Ottawa, but that's it.

But it seems that we're also reaching up to Québec city and of course Trois-Rivières along with heroes up the mountains in Shawinigan, Saint-Émélie-de-l'Énergie, Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon and Saint-Jean-de-Matha! Thank you for your work!

We're also seeing signs of saturation on the network, with communications being less reliable than they were during networks.

We are working on a proposal to reduce the amount of telemetry and noise on the network, following best practices developed in other meshes like setting region-specific channels, loop detection and reduce announce periods, stay tuned!
